People Share Ridiculous Photos of Things Their Co-Workers Have Done
When you work full-time, it's likely that you're around your co-workers more than most people in your life. This can either be a blessing or a curse. While some of us are lucky to have normal, sane, or even hilarious co-workers, others aren't as fortunate. However, whether they're funny or inappropriate, chances are they can still be labeled as weird. Questionable things happen at work, but these co-workers have gone above and beyond to be crowned as the most bizarre people in the office.
Moving In For A Bit
This whole situation might make sense if Megan is work buddies with this person or if they had asked permission before moving into her office. However, it appears that neither is the case which makes the whole thing uncomfortable. Someone sitting in your seat and touching everything after you've left is a bit invasive.
Also, Megan having to hear about it from her co-workers first doesn't make anything better. Let's hope they're just working in Megan's office and not doing anything else in there.
Playing Along With The Joke
This Reddit user's co-worker is Mormon. So he and his co-workers used to always ask him if he has multiple wives even though not all Mormons practice polygamy. Although it's a rather distasteful joke, their co-worker eventually decided to play along and prank his co-workers back.
That Christmas, the man sent out this picture to all of his co-workers. We're glad that this guy has a good sense of humor and decided to play his own little joke on his co-workers.
"Accidentally" Sent That
Ouch. The "I accidentally sent that" excuse is just as bad and immature as "sorry my friend stole my phone." This isn't how you go around hitting on people, especially co-workers.
The chances are that whoever received these texts is now going to want to go into work less than they already did in the first place. We're not sure who we feel worse for, the person receiving these texts or whoever still texts like that. Better luck next time.
The Heart Wants What The Heart Wants
Sure, Hot Cheetos are great, and bagels with cream cheese are awesome, but together? We're not so sure about that. We're not going to say it's gross because we haven't tried it. Maybe they know something we don't.
However, odd combinations of food like this are probably best to only eat at home. You don't want your co-workers walking into the break room to see you making some questionable food for breakfast. You'll be forever labeled as that person that eats really weird food. Nobody wants that.
That's Not Lasagna...
This person's co-worker was bragging all week that she was going to bring in her famous lasagna for the whole office. Someone saying that they're going to bring in lasagna for the office is enough to get anyone excited.
However, she came into work with this thing which doesn't look like any food that we've ever seen before. We guess the only way to know if it's any good is to try it. But then again, I think I'll pass.
Breaking It Down For The Office
Clearly, this co-worker became fed up with people asking him where Ed was. So, they made a simple flowchart for everyone to follow. We wonder how many times people asked him where Ed is if he had to go to these lengths to show how annoyed he is.
The sad thing is that people will probably continue to ask him where Ed is even though this chart is on the back of his computer. Also, what's Ed up to if nobody can ever find him?
Leading A Double Life
This is a textbook example of how you never really know what your co-workers do in their free time unless you're close to them. Some people come to do their job and then get on with the rest of their lives.
Apparently, this person's co-worker has a slight obsession with Back to the Future and is finally breaking it to their co-workers at dinner that night. Although it may be shocking at first, you have to admit that it's pretty sweet.
He's Always Watching You
The only thing weirder than having a cut-out of Ben Affleck's face taped to your computer screen is not knowing who did it. It could be anyone and it will leave you wondering whose face will be on your computer next.
Affleck's elongated neck also makes this whole situation that much more uncomfortable and hard to ignore. The real question is did this person leave it up, or maybe they couldn't take him staring at them like that all day long.
Homemade Cheesecake?
When this person's co-worker said that they were going to bring a homemade cheesecake into the office, most people probably weren't expecting this. Sure, it's very impressive, but we're sure that a lot of people were pretty bummed to learn that it was just a regular cake.
We still have to commend them on their cake decorating skills. The woodgrain on the cutting board looks super realistic! It would almost be a shame to eat!
A New Kind Of Evil
If you've ever worked in an office, you should know the ground rules for when someone brings in donuts. If you were unaware, it's common courtesy to take a part of just one of them for starters. This person's co-worker threw that rule out the window took a part of every remaining donut in the box.
We're not sure what drove them to do something like this, but it's plain wrong. This is a perfect example of the saying that some people just want to watch the world burn.
Not The Smartest Idea
This group of co-workers was having a potluck party and one of them decided it would be a good idea to bring this cake. Yes, although it looks like a cat litter box, it is an edible cake. But that doesn't mean anyone is likely to give it a try. Nobody wants to be the person to take the first slice.
We're not sure if this person was trying to tell their co-workers something subtly or if they thought they were funny at the time. All we know is that whoever brought in this cake will forever be remembered by it.
You Want To Do What?
Surely, there's nothing more strange than a co-worker asking if they can peel your sunburn off your arm for you. We think the only thing that might be weirder is them asking to pick at a scab. We're not sure what the appropriate response to this question is either.
Could you imagine seeing another co-worker peeling off someone else's sunburn as they're calmy working? We'd probably start looking for a new job.
The Definition Of Killing Time
No judgments here for watching Gilmore Girls, but hiding out in the stall to get your fix? Definitely a little odd. You'd think she'd try to be a little bit more sly and at least wear earbuds so that nobody actually knows what she was doing.
We definitely think it would be hard to not mention this to the co-worker in question. We at least hope she got to finish up the episode before she headed back into work.
Leaving Clues Behind
When this person's co-worker quit, they left behind pictures of themselves in random spots throughout the office. This Reddit poster found this particular picture behind one of the clocks in the office even though he had quit over two years prior.
Although this may be a little bit strange, it's also still pretty hilarious. You have to respect the effort and the degree of this kind of comedy. We're not sure why this co-worker even had pictures like this taken of himself, but we're glad that he left them behind.
You Do You, Man
This is something you tend to see little boys do when they are just starting to use the urinal. If you're a male and say you've never done this when you were younger, you'd be lying. But a co-worker? In front of people? That's bound to make anyone uncomfortable.
At that point, it doesn't matter how bad you have to go to the bathroom. Your best bet is to wait it out and hope that you never run into something like that again.
Weird Or Genius?
Sure, it may be a bit on the weird to see your co-worker eating Cheddar Jalapeno Cheetos with a claw mechanism, but you can't deny their creativity. Nobody wants grease or Cheeto dust all over their mouse and keyboard so this person found a way around it.
They traded weird looks from the other people in the office for a clean workspace. The only other questionable thing about this picture is: who actually eats Cheddar Jalapeno Cheetos?
Someone Really Wants Their Privacy
It sounds like this person got so fed up at work that he needed to take his break in the bathroom. Sure, it might be a pretty disgusting move, but you can't know what this particular co-worker is going through.
Apparently, he would rather spend their only free time alone in the bathroom rather than spend another second in the office or around their co-workers. Maybe instead of calling them weird, you should make sure they're okay because something is wrong here.
The Meeting Has Been Cancelled
If you ever walk into a conference room and see this, your best bet is to turn around and run as far away as possible. That's one of the creepiest things that we've ever seen in an office. It looks like someone stole that right off of the set of a horror movie and put it in this otherwise bland conference room.
The only thing that could make this any scarier is if nobody ever found out who put it there.
Red Flag Alert
There's nothing wrong about talking about disposing of bodies in the office, right? We definitely need some context behind this tweet though, because it's possible this person is working with some pretty questionable individuals. All you have to do is smile, be nice, and pray that you're not the person they're talking about getting rid of.
The odds are that they're joking around, but hey, you never know with some people. Keep your wits about you.
No Shrines At Work, Please
This person's co-worker started to make a shrine in their cubicle with all the notes that they've been passing with their other co-worker. While maybe one or two is okay as a reminder of an inside joke, this is a little overboard.
Hopefully, the other person will see this and maybe slow down on the notes. Because it looks like somebody is starting to get the wrong idea. The extra creepy part is that it's totally out in the open for everyone to see.
Just When You Thought Your Day Was Getting Better...
Not every day is a good day at work. This coworker thought someone else had done something super nice and picked up Krispy Kreme donuts for everyone. He thought his okay day was about to get better.
But then, he lifts the lid and sees that his coworker is actually a terrible person. Who wants donuts? EVERYONE. Who wants a veggie tray? NOONE. This is cruel.
A Bowl of Yuck
Any of these candies would be delicious by themselves, but together they're a hot mess. No one wants to get a handful of M&M's mixed with Skittles and Reeses and this coworker knows that.
While everyone seems to be getting into the Easter spirit at work, this guy went a different route. No one will be dipping their hand in his candy bowl again.
Creepy Clown X 3
Some people like to mess with coworkers who don't lock their computers by changing the desktop image. In this case, the coworker did it three times and used the same creepy clown for each.
This is not the first things someone wants to see when they turn their computer on in the morning!
Poop? Or...
This clever guy works in a lab and grabbed one of the stool sample containers. And proceeded to fill it with Nutella, but labeled it poop. Then he walked around the office eating out of it.
We gotta give this guy points for using his office environment as part of his prank. At the very least, it makes your coworkers do a double take. At the most, it makes them lose their lunch.
Emoji of the Month
This guy probably wasn't actually named "Employee of the Month" but his coworkers just needed a reason to print out this emoji that is a deadpan for this guy. Who came first, the coworker or the emoji?
Either way, you have to chuckle. Although we're not sure they got a laugh out of this guy. They're probably just envious of his hair growing skills.
Really???
Okay, this one is absurd. Some coworker was so uptight about everyone tucking in their chair that one day they actually hid this person's chair. The next time they didn't tuck their chair in all the way before they left for the day, the person leaves this outline.
You know what else is outlined in tape on the floor Carol? Dead people.
The Wicked Witch of the Fridge
Going into a walk-in fridge can be frightening enough. After all, you might lock yourself in and freeze to death! This woman was startled when she walked into work at 7 am to find this witch in the freezer!
Whoever closed the restaurant the night before decided to get clever. But heart attacks aren't funny, especially not ones in the fridge, at work.
Baking... Baking... Spider!!!
Photo: Instagram/g.the.baker
This woman is a baker at Kneading Hands Bakery, who was pranked by a woman she works with. This one is pretty clever and on par with the guy who put Nutella in the stool sample jar.
She said she almost fainted when she saw the fake spider laying in the oreo mix. Prank spiders always work!
Go Ahead And Quit, Danny
The story goes... one coworker decided to quit their job. Danny thought his coworkers had made a nice gesture by getting him a farewell cake. But they didn't. Instead, they made him a fake cake made of dish sponges, covered in frosting.
Luckily the prank begins with Danny trying to cut the cake, which he couldn't. The sad part is, no one gets cake.
On Your Mind... All The Time
Okay, this is a weird one. This woman printed out photos of herself holding each of the numbers on the clock. Then she took the clock apart and taped them inside. Either she really likes numbers or needs a lot of attention.
Keep in mind this was a work prank. If she did this to her significant others' clock, it might be TIME to break up.
This One Is Pretty Awesome
Okay, this has to go down as one of the best office pranks of all time. In this case, you can't really be mad at your coworker because you're going to end up with a ton of awesome Chewbacca impressions on your voice mailbox.
This goes to show that just because we're adults with jobs doesn't mean we're going to grow up.
You Are a Jerk, Sir.
What is there, like five people in the world who aren't afraid of snakes? This is not a friendly move by any means. What if his coworker sits down to open his cooler and becomes eye-level with this snake?
What if he gets bit??? This guy pretends to be all about safety with his construction hat, but really, he's ready to go to massive lengths to get a giggle.
Nasty Vaseline Phone
Ring... ring... hello? Vaseline, is that you? Someone in the office put Vaseline all over this poor woman's phone. You can have a pretty nail job, but that won't keep you from getting pranked.
It's kind of weird to have Vaseline laying around the office in the first place, right? What else was it being used for? Growdy!
We Get It, You Don't Eat Meat
We all know those people... they make a lifestyle change and they want EVERYONE to know about it, ask them about it, and compliment them about it. This guy just went vegan (it's his first day, so does that really even count?) and he wants everyone to know about it.
His coworkers had just about enough of that and put him in his place with a sign. Now you can stop telling everyone. We know.
Nobody Wants You To Eat Their Food Debbie
Apparently, Debbie has a problem with stealing food that doesn't belong to her and got caught in the act. Her co-workers decided to send a strong message by attaching "not Debbie's" notes to all of their lunches.
If Debbie doesn't get the message this time perhaps everyone packing a kale smoothie for lunch every day will stop her reign of food stealing terror. Of course, that would mean everyone in Debbie's office would be forced to drink kale smoothies for a few weeks — totally worth it!
Don't Touch My Mug
Are you sick and tired of people in the office using your personal coffee mug? This employee left a note reminding their co-workers not to touch their mug with a reindeer photo on it. Of course, that only meant some retribution needed to be offered up in a snarky manner.
Now that everyone has touched the mug this note seems a little outdated. If it wasn't for co-workers like these how would we possibly get through our work day? Sure they might annoy us but the people we work with can also make us smile with their quirky ways.
Please Don't Talk To ANY Office Equipment
In what universe are there enough people talking to the photocopier that such a message is necessary in the first place? This photo really raises more questions than it provides answers. Why are employees at this company not allowed to talk about the copier? Is it a sentient being that has feelings.
There is a very real possibility that this copier was constantly eating paper and leaving employees with lost time as they attempted to remove paper jams. We feel their pain and hope they stopped talking or yelling at the office equipment after this notice was posted.
