You just know that somebody carrying a big heavy box downstairs is going to trip over that last wonky step. Do better.

According to a comment on Reddit, most building codes require handrails to extend to a certain point so this rail is to keep the ramp up to code.
It still looks dumb.
Slip Or Die
Apparently, these little sharp squares are to prevent people from sliding down the rails.
But they seem like more of a hazard than anything else If you trip and try to grab the rail, then you might just stab your hand.

Every single step is a different size. This is basically asking for an injury.
Whoever carved out these steps must have had a serious grudge. Only the strong can survive these stairs.

It's unclear whether the stairs make the hike up easier or harder.
Rather than simply dragging your feet one after the other, the stairs require you to actually lift your whole leg up to climb them, so I vote no stairs.

Ironically, the stairs were built by a human, so this a double-loss on the scoreboard.
