Terrible Selfies That Should Never Have Seen The Light Of Day
In some ways, there is an art to taking the selfie. In its early days, people frowned upon it, but it's becoming more popular by the day. Your angles need to be right, the lighting should be good, and your background can't be contaminated with unwanted things or people. Those are the basic rules, so let's take a look at folks who broke all of them and produced images that should never have seen the light of day.
Someone Got In Trouble
Here this woman is trying to take a selfie, but there's some little kid in the background who probably just got in trouble. That's the look of fear on his face.
It looks like he was about to attempt to run away as this picture snapped. This one will go down as a favorite.
Where Is The Traffic?
She's complaining about traffic, but her glasses tell a different story. People will say or do anything just to get that selfie they want.
She was determined to post this, even though her shades told the truth. Hey, at least it's still a good picture.
When The Camera Focuses On Thickness
He wanted a nice photo with a horse in the background, but his camera wanted to focus on something else. That's a pretty thick horse, so it makes sense this happened.
As for the overall picture, it isn't that bad. He can just say that it was an artistic choice to do this. Some people will believe him.
Someone Steals A Look
She has no idea this man is looking at her like that. The mirror caught the whole thing, but that could be her boyfriend.
If he isn't her boyfriend, he probably got into a lot of trouble after she saw the reflection of him in the picture.
"Going To Dinner Because I Needed An Excuse To Wear This"
While that is a nice dress, why didn't she take the time to clean her room before posting this? Also, if you look hard enough, you'll notice something on the floor by her nightstand.
There seems to be a furry creature resembling a rat. It's hard to tell, but from here, it looks just like that.
It's Too Late Now
That's the face of someone who knows it's too late to do anything. That spider is behind enemy lines, and it can attack at any moment.
The friend taking the photo didn't realize what was going on like her pal did. I'm sure once she put the camera down, they both jumped out the bed.
The Dog Moon
The dog picked the perfect time to get in this picture. These two young ladies put on great smiles just to get the dog's behind in the photo.
Is she trying to get a rub or a pat on the back? What made her turn around like this at the last moment?
Stop With The Lies
Pretending like you have a significant other taking secret photos of you is the biggest sign of desperation. Tossing the chips on her face almost makes this one believable, but the mirror caught her.
Whether or not she knew the camera was in the shot is beyond the point. We need to put an end to these fake photos.
She Forgot About Something...
That's a nice smile she has going for her, but this is worse than forgetting your zipper is down. It's easy to forget about everything going on in the background after you take that glamourous shot.
She probably thought everything was fine and didn't notice this mistake until after she posted it. It's too late, the internet has it.
A Dog, A Man, And A Baby
A dog, a man, and a baby all take a selfie in the grass, except the dog wasn't invited. That could be the start of your next joke.
End it with how the dog looks like a ponytail on top of the child's head. There's a lot going on in his picture.
"When Your Father Is Too Cool"
Here's a dad who tries to be too cool and ends up looking like a fool. Well, maybe a fool is a little too harsh, but this pose is not flattering.
His daughter looks like she's posing for her first MySpace profile picture, and the dad looks like he's on the cover of a 30-plus cruise magazine.
A Mother's Rage
Taking seductive photos in the dressing room is supposed to be a private thing. This mom didn't have any time for that.
She must've had a suspicion that her daughter was in there doing things for Snapchat or other social media sites. She got caught in 4K.
Not Enough Room In The Bathroom?
When you don't have enough room in the bathroom, but you still need that selfie, this is what you need to do. If there's no window, you're out of luck.
This guy must've really needed to get this picture for whatever reason. Maybe he needed one for his Tinder profile.
Take a Better Look
How did this person have this on their fridge for six years before noticing what was going on in the back? Those eyes pierce through your soul the moment you see them.
Also, why are they both making a kissy face? This is an interesting picture to have on your fridge for that long.
"My Boyfriend Is So Sweet! Sneaking In The Shower Taking Shots Of Me"
If she really had a boyfriend, this wouldn't have happened. Sadly, this lady posted this selfie in the bathroom before realizing her reflection was in the mirror.
The hand up to the camera is a nice touch, but she should have also cropped the top of the image.
Check Your Surroundings
She's trying to take a candid selfie but forgot about one thing in the background. She also forgot that hairstyle isn't in style anymore.
This is an overall fail of a photo, and she should consider taking two looks before uploading a picture in the future.
Dad Bod Stealing The Spotlight
He's probably going to prom or homecoming, but that suit isn't the star of this show. That mirror shows everything that didn't need to be seen.
The kid looks unhappy to be taking that photo, but maybe it's because his dad is practically naked!
"My Friend Got His Tux In And Sent Me A Pic. I Had To Bring It To His Attention What Was Going On"
Is that cat throwing up or acting like a dog? If it's sipping the water from the toilet, that little feline must be thirsty. That, or it watches the dogs in the house too much.
Hopefully, that kid flushed the toilet so there wasn't anything in it. If there was, that's not good for the poor kitty.
Feeling Left Out
These ladies decided to take a picture that's borderline NSFW, but it would appear that they left someone out. She looks extremely fed up that she wasn't included.
While these four have the time of their lives in this one photo, that other woman stares in disbelief. At least she was in it another way.
She Doesn't Even Notice
I didn't know kids that grown could drown in the bathtub, but I stand corrected. She must've heard that child struggling in the water, but this selfie was more important.
She finally found the perfect pose right when the kid started having problems. At least she looks happy.
That's A Supportive Sister
Family is there for you through thick and thin. They always have your back.
They also love to take selfies with you in the background during one of the most painful moments of your life.
Two Is Better Than One
Who wouldn't want to hang out with their girlfriend with two heads?
That sounds like a great time and not a selfie fail that should be posted online for everyone to remember.
Why Are Cats Like This?
Why are cats such jerks sometimes? You can't convince me either that they don't know what they're doing.
They always have that look in their eye like they like being jerks.
Everyone Flew Away
When this picture was taken, they all had birds in their hands.
The birds saw a chance to make the humans look stupid, and they went for it. When else were they going to have the chance?
Dads Are Always Ruining Pictures
Dads love to photobomb their teenage girl's selfies. It's like their life purpose.
This girl will look back on this picture and see nothing but love and a good laugh.
It's Time For Her Nose's Close Up
You have to be careful of those little mirrors because you never know what they're going to catch.
They're always holding some kind of secret that would be better left unseen.
This Is Why Girls Live Longer
Yes, you see that right. Those are two little boys shoving another boy into a cannon.
Let's hope that that cannon isn't in working order. Of course, it isn't, right?
Two Kisses To The Face
Trying to get a decent picture with your dogs can be tough. Sometimes, they won't want to look at the camera unless you're holding a snack.
Other times, they're too busy giving you kisses on the face! This owner experienced the latter, but it's still a pretty good photo.
"Hey To All My Followers!"
It looks like the person in the background is sending a live video to all their social media followers.
You know, the annoying kind that no one really watches, to begin with.
The Photobomb Of All Photobombs
That's a once-in-a-lifetime shot! People try so hard to get cool pictures with whales, and these people just snapped one accidentally.
This is the kind of good luck we all need more of.
That's A Broken Heart
It looks like Elmo is a little bit heartbroken about that picture being taken with Woody.
I mean, Elmo was probably there first, and now Elmo has been cast aside for a cowboy.
Generational Differences
This selfie perfectly captures the difference between these two generations. Here, the older man is using the restroom to, well, use the restroom, wash his hands, and be on his way.
On the other side of the coin, this young man is taking his sweet time, taking a few selfies in the bathroom mirror and sharing them on social media before going back to his table to see how many people liked it.
Selfie > Cleaning
This girl is trying to show off her going-out outfit, but all I see is the mess behind her! Just look at all of that junk!
See, if only guys still picked up girls for a date, rather than meet them at the location, they would quickly find out how messy some girls really are!
PDA Dad To The Photobombing Rescue
Here's a fun lesson I plan to remember when my children are older: never take your kids to a concert or this might happen. The look on this guy’s face pretty much sums up his thoughts on public displays of affection.
It’s kind of hard to enjoy a concert when you have to watch two teens go at it surrounded by thousands of other people. At least he wasn’t taking his daughter to a boy band concert and that might be the only relief he has to remember this trip.
David Beckham Photobombs His Son
It's not just strange dads with nothing else to do who photobomb their children. Here’s a photo of soccer superstar David Beckham as he jumps into the background of his son’s selfie. It’s a silly photo but honestly, I would welcome the chance to have someone like Beckham photobomb my pictures.
His son, on the other hand, has to live in the same home and probably finds this to be just another photo of a dad attempting to embarrass their kid.
GOOD BOY!
The two girls wanted a cute selfie together, but the dog had other plans in mind. I don't know why it decided to show its behind, but it’s hilarious.
Maybe he wanted a back scratch or a pat on the back? You never know with these dogs!
The Stinky Situation
How could a photo of a mom and her beautiful daughters possibly go wrong? Oh yeah, just throw dad in the background with their baby and a poopy diaper.
Dad perfectly timed this photo to capture a sight parents are all too familiar with: smelling the baby's diaper for a stinky situation.
Like Father, Like Son
The dad in the background of this photo might not be related to the couple but he's teaching his kid the fine art of photobombing at a young age. Father and son share similar looks as the couple snuggle up together for what is otherwise a really sweet selfie. We live in an age where it’s incredibly easy to snap a photo of our loved ones.
Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on how you look at it), that also means people can jump into the background and create weird but funny memories like this one.
50% Cute, 50% Corndog
One of the girls in this photo is trying to take a cute selfie using a digital camera (prehistoric times here) and a mirror.
Her friend in the background, however, is not interested in taking a cute selfie at all. She's highly focused on the corndog has in her hand and I don't blame her.
