Times Graffiti Was Strangely Wholesome
Most of the time, people aren't looking to improve their community when they take a bottle of spray paint to the side of a building. Usually, they use that spray paint to write something profane or mean-spirited. However, on some occasions, graffiti can be downright adorable.
Keep reading to see how these vigilantes with a writing instrument are changing the world one nice saying at a time. Get ready to have your heart warmed.
A Rainbow Of Kindness
Of all of the things that this very talented vandal could have written under this bridge...
He chose to draw a derpy rainbow unicorn and wrote: "treat people with kindness."
Clap For Bubbles
The image on this sign does actually look like somebody is clapping for bubbles. Why wouldn't you clap for bubbles? Bubbles are amazing.
Soap and air creating perfectly spherical floating orbs? Wow.
The Internet Is Amazing
This bit of graffiti was written on the side of a building that was either knowingly or unknowingly providing free Wi-Fi to everybody on the street.
Thank goodness for people who don't set Wi-Fi passwords.
Mental Health Matters
You know what? Mental health does matter.
We're living in some particularly stressful times, and if you feel like your mental health is suffering because of that, you should do what you can to get help.
You're* The Best
This person may not know that "your the best" isn't proper English, but that hasn't stopped them from being genuinely nice.
Really, it should say "you're the best," though. Just saying.
Chase Yo Dreams
This person wasn't going to let a Chase sign just be a Chase sign when it's a perfectly good opportunity to send a positive message to the world.
You chase your dreams too, good sir or ma'am.
Let's All Slow Dance
What's the difference between slow dancing and slow slow dancing? Is this a reference to a song that I don't know about?
What did ever happen to slow slow dancing?
Trust Godzilla
The graffiti that was initially here was pretty positive already.
Then somebody came along with a can of red spray paint and made it even better than it was before.
No Racism Any Time
Somebody covered up the word "parking" on this street sign with the word "racism."
How will people know that they're not allowed to park here now, though? They'll just have to figure it out.
Thanks For The Info
This person just happened to have a white Sharpie on hand to let everyone know that the lock on this locker doesn't work.
This is what we call looking out for your fellow man.
Hey There, Scrat
Yes, this weird animal from Ice Age's name is Scrat...
In case you had it on the tip of your tongue but couldn't remember if it was Scrit or Scratch or Scurry.
A Movie Review
Look, I can agree with this movie review vandal, but only because Toy Story 3 was actually better than Toy Story 2.
Toy Story 2 was good for its time, but the third film blew it out of the water.
Yo Mamma...
Most of the time, when graffiti starts out with the words "your mom," it doesn't end nicely after that.
This person decided to flip the switch. My mom is a nice lady, thank you very much.
Flutes Are Scary
You should protect yourself from the flu, but you should also protect yourself from the flute.
Flutes make really annoying sounds and you don't really want to be close to one if you can help it.
Horray For Jellyfish
Wow, it does actually look like those hands are clapping for a jellyfish.
Why do we need a graphic to tell us what to do with a hand dryer? Isn't it self-explanatory?
Soviet Patrick
Somebody vandalized the Soviet Star and turned it into Patrick. That's amazing. "Is this communism?" "No! This is Patrick!"
Whoever pulled this off did a really good job with the painting.
Support Your Gay Dad
Gay kids need support, but perhaps gay dads need support even more.
You should support all gay people, but you should especially support your own father because he raised you.
Right In The Feels
Bob Ross was one of the most wholesome human beings the world had to offer.
Now he's gone and the world is a little less colorful than it was before.
The Leaves Are A Nice Touch
Somebody clearly spent a lot of time on this message. It looks like they used a stencil to get the lettering just right.
The autumn leaves really complete the picture.
Everyone And Everything Needs A Hug
These two utility boxes show the world that everything needs a hug every so once and a while.
While it looks like the bigger box is a bit upset, the little one comes in with a concerned face and wide arms.
Fear Holds Us Back
This very bold graffiti says, "your fear of looking stupid is holding you back." That's probably something we all needed to hear today.
Don't worry about looking stupid to other people.
Truth From A Bathroom Stall
This graffiti says, "sometimes people pretend you're a bad person so they don't feel guilty about the things they did to you." Wow, that's heavy.
It's almost too heavy for a bathroom wall.
Ouch, My Heart
Okay, this piece of wholesome vandalism is tugging on my heartstrings in all the right ways.
If this doesn't inspire you to tell that person you love that you love them, I don't know what will.
We're All Tired
Well, if we're tired, imagine how an actual tire must feel.
Whoever vandalized this piece of a car obviously wasn't too tired to bust out a can of white spray paint.
Rules To Live By
These are some excellent rules to live by.
I don't know about that "don't snitch on shoplifters" one, but hey, if it's written on a wall it must be true.
I Am Grout
Yes, this is, in fact, grout. This is probably a reference to Groot from The Avengers, who just says "I am Groot" all the time.
Even if it's not meant to be a reference, it's still pretty cute.
The Power Of Forgiveness
Forgiveness isn't a gift you give to the person you're forgiving.
It's a gift you give to yourself. You don't want to be carrying hate around with you everywhere you go.
Against All Authority
You have to speak Spanish to figure this one out, but if you don't speak Spanish, let us help you out a bit.
It says, "Against all authority... except my mom."
Tacos Fall Apart Too
It is very true that tacos fall apart and we still love them, although, wouldn't you prefer if tacos didn't fall apart? Just saying.
They're pretty messy foods to eat.
Don't Jump!
While we appreciate this wholesome message, we can't help but wonder how this vandal actually managed to write this message without falling.
It looks like it was a pretty dangerous endeavor.
Mmmm, Delicious Casserole
This piece of graffiti used to say something quite different.
But then a kind person with a can of black spray paint came along and edited it to make it more family-friendly.
