Animals Who Prove Traveling Is Just Another Walk In The Park
It might be hard for pet owners to part with their furry companions, but traveling with animals is no easy task. Factoring in their anxiety and potty breaks, there's more than one aspect to think about. However, these animals prove that traveling is nothing more than another walk in the park.
From napping to sticking close to their humans, people could take a page out of these animals' travel etiquette books.
Smiling Through Everything
Even though he's stuck in a tiny bag under the seat in front of his human, this tiny dog is still smiling from ear to ear. Just looking up at his companion, this dog looks as though he's totally content staying in the bright purple bag, as long as it means staying close by the person who gives him pets and treats.
If only all humans could look this pleased while traveling!
"Hello, I Am Dog, Your Captain"
Not only is this pooch a better airplane passenger than most humans, but he's better dressed for the occasion, too! Sporting a vest and tie, this bulldog outshines those sweatpants-dwellers who look like they rolled out of bed and directly into the airport.
A good boy and probably an even better co-pilot, people would be silly not to give this pooch all of the pets and treats after a safe landing.
Just Looking For New Friends
Public transportation is the last place people would expect to make friends. But that's not stopping this curious puppy from becoming friends with the man sitting in the row behind her.
Crawling her way under the seats, this pooch is determined to make a life-long friend during this trip. Well, maybe not life-long, but at least someone who is willing to give her a lot of ear scratches while they wait for their stop.
Riding Along
No fussing, no eye-rolling, and no whining. This little pooch shows people on the subway just how to act when riding the train -- keeping to herself, being poised, and sitting in her little seat like the precious angel she is.
Most humans would be fidgeting on that cold plastic seat, but this tiny dog just looks as though she'll sit and wait as long as she gets a copy of this image since it looks like a still from a music video.
When Mom Lies About Going To The Park
This poor dog looks like he was betrayed in the worst way possible. By the horrified look in his eyes, getting on this plane is up there with being told he's going to the dog park only to wind up at the veterinarian's office.
Even so, he's there, sitting in his human's lap and not barking, with his tiny headset on to protect his ears. Hopefully, there is a little doggie bag just in case he gets sick, though.
Taking After The Human
Coming in hot with the ultimate travel trick is this tiny dog. Arguably the best way to travel is to fall asleep. It makes the "getting there" part go by much quicker. And while a lot of people have issues falling asleep on public transportation, this dog just took a page out of its human's book and passed out on the seat right next to him.
Someone should tell the dog that it's allowed to dog, though, and doesn't need to sit upright.
Traveler And Model Ready For Flight
Wild, flightless, and probably more than a bit confused, this penguin is the model of a good travel partner. Hey, this pilot probably just wants to show the animal what a birds-eye view is all about!
And what better way to start that flight than taking a selfie with a penguin, especially if that penguin just so happens to match the pilot uniform and knows his angles, like this one clearly does with his slight head tilted.
Why Take One Seat When There Are Two?
So, this cat is either a genius or just doing the most cat-like thing imaginable, taking up two seats when he can definitely fit on one. Or, ya know, maybe the floor since he's a cat!
But, no, this kitty decided to take up two seats because he could. The best part being that he's not even halfway over the second seat, just enough so no one can sit down if there's nothing else available. That's one way to make it, so no one sits next to you!
This Bird Would Rather Be With Its Human Than Flying
When a bird is more civilized riding a subway train than most people, humanity should think about learning a lesson or two. It could be flying around the train car, wreaking havoc on the people commuting to and from work.
But, no. This bird is more than happy perched on its human's knee just watching the darkness of the subway tunnel go by, even though an underground tunnel is totally out of its element.
Just A Regular Dog Doing Regular Dog Things
Has there ever been a better fluff ball? This dog is doing what a lot of humans can't stand, sitting down on the bus without any form of entertainment but looking around.
He seems content, with his tongue sticking out and his human right next to him, waiting to see where the bus is actually taking them. Nothing like the numerous people around him with their heads down and nose plugged into their phones.
Nose Boops Are Only For The Most Trustworthy
It's going to be a great plane ride for this person since the seat in front of them is home to this good boy for the next few hours. While this would be very creepy if done by a human, getting attention from a pooch like this makes people feel as though they're "the chosen one."
And allowing the stranger to do a tiny nose boop is just the icing on the cake!
The Ultimate Window Seat
Nothing looks as though it's going to bring this pooch down, even if that something is a middle seat while traveling. Everyone should take a page out of his book and look at the bright side of life.
No window seat? No problem. Make a window seat by staring directly at the person on the other side of the chair. Dogs and their optimism are things that the human race just doesn't deserve.
The Alpaca In The Metro
This alpaca might look as though he's questioning his human's decision to bring him on a full metro in the middle of the city, but he's still acting as though he's done it hundreds of times before.
Staying in one place and most likely ignoring all of the alpaca-related puns being thrown his way, this alpaca could arguably give any daily commuter a run for their money when it comes to traveling etiquette.
Smiling Through The Travel Anxiety
This good boy is doing what most humans forget while traveling, smiling through the uncomfortable nature of not being at home. While he might look like he's about to pass out from anxiety, this pooch is definitely handling his panic better than most humans in his situation.
What this puppy needs is a nice big pat on the head, some reassurance, and maybe a tasty treat or two to let him know everything is okay.
A First Time Traveler
This puppy looks like a recent college graduate who is finally finished with school and going on their first solo backpacking trip throughout Europe. Happy, excited, and ready for adventure, this little pooch has no idea what's in store for him once he gets to his first hostel.
His human is most likely going to make sure he's taken care of, meaning he'll probably wind up in one of the nicer hotels in the city.
Just A Duck On A Train...
Dogs, cats, maybe even a rabbit... those three animals are typically found on leashes or in carrying crates while traveling with their humans. Then there is this lady with her service duck.
Complete with a harness and a solid hairstyle, this duck looks like it's ready to take on anyone who dares to talk to its human in the wrong way. Other than that, he's looking and acting pretty fly for a duck guy on a train.
A Much-Needed Nap
When it comes to traveling, this dog has the right idea: pass out as soon as possible and don't bother anyone. Even though his human is awake next to him, napping is obviously more important than scouring the area in case of any attacks by a squirrel or something equally as intimidating.
And considering how this pup's mouth is slightly opened, it's safe to say they are fairly confident leaving their human alone for a little while.
Sit, Stay, Smile
Sitting, Staying, and smiling through a plane ride. If anyone deserves to get their wings on a flight, it's this good service dog right here. While the pressure would have a lot of pooches in a panic, this precious animal's just smiling their way through everything, making sure their human doesn't get anxiety from the ride.
Someone should have upgraded her to first-class since she's acting more composed than a lot of humans do on an airplane.
"This Isn't My House..."
Looking a bit terrified of being on an airplane for the first time, this little puppy needs all of the encouragement and love he can find. Which, let's be honest, isn't going to be too difficult considering how cute he is.
That being said, this puppy definitely looks like he would rather be anywhere in the world but confined to that plane. Here's to hoping he passed out during takeoff and the pressure didn't hurt his tiny ears.
Own Chair, Don't Care
As long as no one disturbs this kitty, she'll probably be the best passenger on the train. With her own seat and area to lounge in, this cat is pretty much a human who is silently people-watching and judging the others in her car.
Hey, it's still a cat. Just because she's acting like a civilized member of society and quietly sitting in her assignment seat, that doesn't mean she's still not doing very cat-like things. Just look at those eyes!
Curious Kitty
With all of the things a cat could do while loose on a plane, looking out the window at the other planes isn't the first thing that comes to mind. But here it is, not meowing, scratching a chair, or stowing away in one of the bins in the galley, but staring very intently at whatever is on the runway.
Honestly, in this cat's mind, he's probably staking a claim on the plane and trying to figure out the proper way to fly it.
When Your Seat-Mate Needs A Pick-Me-Up
When traveling, there is little worse than a seatmate who wants to have a lengthy conversation, especially if the other person wants nothing more than to take a nap. Well, this particular seatmate is hard to ignore.
Adorable and sweet, this service pooch looks like she wants to do nothing more than give the human a little pick me up during the flight, even at the expense of her neck. That angle can't be comfortable for long.
The Best Seat In The House
Nothing is better than being able to find a comfortable position on an airplane. As it so happens, this particular cat has the best cozy zone in the house, right behind the pilot's head.
Like a personal blanket, this kitty knows what she's doing when it comes to traveling -- find someone to gently lean on your body for a bit of heat while taking up their entire headrest. It's a fool-proof method for ultimate comfort.
Humans Aren't The Only Ones Who People Watch
While this bunny is doing the right thing and not bothering anyone on this train, he could do a thing about the staring. Didn't his human tell him it's rude to intently stare at fellow passengers, making them mildly uncomfortable?
It's like this rabbit is peering into this person's soul, egging them on to give him snacks of some kind. Because who doesn't have a bag full of produce they can give a traveling rabbit on standby?
Pillow: Check. Water Bottle: Check. Nap Time: Check
Many people should take a page out of this good girl's book. With a pillow and water bottle by her side, this pooch is ready for a long flight, curled up next to her human and napping through the air.
See, it's all about getting comfortable and just letting the sound of the engine take you away. It really wouldn't be surprising if there were a puddle of drool on that pillow once the pooch wakes up.
Just A Dog Lion Around
Is it a dog? Is it a lion? Whatever this animal's species, he is one good boy lying beside his human in the subway. Although he probably gave more than one person a minor heart attack, they'd be hard-pressed to stay upset at this fluff ball for longer than one second.
He's too cute and well-behaved, looking over the passengers in the train car, to stay mad at for long.
Can You Please Turn Off Your Phone?
It might not be as problematic anymore, but once upon a time, flight attendants would walk up and down the airplane aisle asking people to turn their electronics off and stow them away, not just turn everything on airplane mode.
Well, this dog seems to be living back in the 1990s, turning around in his seat (because every good boy needs their own seat) to judge the person still checking their messages. Hey, he's just trying to be safe!
When You Left Your Thunder Jacket At Home
Whether he's anxious or just tired, this pup's human knows exactly what her best friend needs: a big, comforting hug. This human could have had her dog lie down on the ground, but, no, she's an amazing pet owner, picking up her puppy and giving him a place to calm down.
Maybe next time, bring his anxiety-reducing thunder coat along for the ride, just in case this is a panic attack and not a case of napping.
Even In A Long Line, This Pooch Is Smiling
Walking to a seat on a plane can be a slow experience. But this pooch looks as though she's having the time of her life. She's in her human's arms, there is another human to look at, and there are plenty of people around to give unlimited head scratches.
Yeah, this dog has the right idea, smiling and having a good attitude about the situation she found herself in that day. What a good girl.
Waiting To Get Home For A Proper Nap
Scared or just straight up loyal, this black lab is going nowhere without its human, and that includes moving away from him while traveling. Seriously, though, this dog is better behaved than many children.
Just lying down and hugging his human's foot, this dog is minding his own business and waiting for the train to stop so he can go home and take a more comfortable nap on the couch or in his own bed.
